A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! Madrid continues to be dream come true. 2+years here have filled me with enough memories to last a lifetime. It’s true that life is amazing here.
Who knew a song could symbolize so much to me. But last Friday in the midst of playing Red light, Green light with my 4 year olds, two of them burst into song singing all the lyrics correctly to 5 little monkeys and I just about burst into tears.
Life has been busily going on and blogging has come to a halt. To say I’m too busy would be the understatement of the world. This time around, commencing my third year in Spain has been nonstop since day one. Jumping off a delayed flight from London-Gatwick only to be at orientation some hours later.
My immaturity came out in the title for this Vienna post. Vienna in German is Wien for those of you who didn’t know, like me before this trip. The added er was just for kicks and giggles. We spent the 27-30th in Wien before making our way to our final stop, Budapest.
Christmas Eve was spent in Prague just relaxing in the airbnb we booked since everything was closed. We had a homemade pasta dinner for Christmas and called it a day with a movie and wine.
